Renergia completes the second selection stage of the REC4SMEs project
Applications from across Romania will now be evaluated across four essential areas, with three finalist initiatives selected for dedicated support.
The second stage of the REC4SMEs project has officially concluded, marking another step towards developing renewable energy communities in Romania.
Following the completion of the technical questionnaire, an expert committee will assess each application based on four key pillars: governance, technical feasibility, legal structure and financial viability.
Three finalist initiatives will be announced soon through the Renergia and REC4SMEs channels. The selected applicants will receive specialised support to transform their proposals into viable renewable energy communities.
Renergia also aims to create value beyond the final selection. Applicants will receive recommendations, and initiatives located nearby may be connected to encourage new partnerships and future energy communities.
Because the energy transition becomes real when local ambition is matched by the expertise to make it work.
REC4SMEs is implemented in collaboration with the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, DBA Group and ITC — Innovation Technology Cluster, and co-financed by the European Union.
